New Jingles for the podcast? Oh yes!

We need some new jingles for the podcast, big time. And I could use some inspiration, if you’ve got any sat around there.

Here are the two we’ve been using currently:

- Still to come on SMS Text News
- Put down your Motorola RAZRs and burn your phone holsters

In fact I didn’t put them in the last one because some folk reckon they’re a bit… naff.

I think they border on silly. But I also think it’s a bit fun. So we’ll have some more, I reckon.

I think we should have something about Ted Baker Mobile — it’s rubbish! And what else? Hmm.

I wonder if we could get Jeff, the chap who records them, to knock up something on mobile data. I like the idea of something like ‘I’m sorry, you’ve reached your fair usage policy allowance for SMS Text New…‘ followed by the sound of a phone hanging up and a dial tone? Heh.

And I wonder if we could get some audio of Arun Sarin, chop up one of the speeches he’s done in the past, and get him to say “I..always…listen…to…SMS..Text..News..Podcast“? Gotta be done, hasn’t it? Although I doubt there’s audio of him anywhere saying the word ‘podcast’.
