Text messaging (SMS) is fast-becoming the most lucrative opportunity for content providers, advertisers, and small businesses to communicate with their customers. Since the message arrives on a personal handset, this medium can offer unprecedented immediacy and relevancy to the end user. Every mobile phone is poised become a perfect conduit into (literally) the consumer's pocket.

Unfortunately, carrier restrictions and surcharges impose significant barriers to entry. Registering a shortcode, implementing a strategy, and handling regulatory hurdles can take weeks (or even months) and thousands of dollars.

Because of this, creating and managing an SMS campaign becomes much less attractive.

There is no way to stop the text alerts once they start. I have been trying for weeks by repling with STOP or STOP ALL and contacting them through the web form.
