The short answer is that the unit&lt;br&gt;uses &#039;guard band frequencies&#039; and Teleware have a license for this in the&lt;br&gt;UK.  In other countries it is advisable to check if you need permission.&lt;br&gt; For example I emailed the Maldavian telecoms regulator, who, rather&lt;br&gt;annoyingly, hasn&#039;t quite got back to me yet with a response.</description>
