Mercedes gets friendly with Apple iPhone

After you’ve spent a few quid on the iPhone, what better way to burn through a bit of extra cash than to get yourself an iPhone integration kit for your Mercedes?

The black and silver kit will give drivers access to all their favourite iPhone functions through the steering wheel, with information from the device – like what song’s playing – is piped into the vehicle display panel.

Rather handily, the cradle the iPhone sits in connects it up to the car’s aerial to boost reception and charges up the device while you drive.

If you fancy buying one, it’ll help if you’re not shy of spending money: the car integration kit will cost €249 – up to 249 times the cost of the iPhone itself. Mind you, if you’re the type of person who owns a Mercedes, €249 is probably your pocket change.
