Thank you Orange.

I’ll give credit, where credit is due, and despite my ramble about Data Charges yesterday (which I still think are appalling), Orange have tried very hard to redeem themselves.

They’ve given me back some more credit, and given me free evening browsing, and bundle thing for a month. So thank you!

What’s more amazing was that this has been sorted out in around twenty-four hours. Today is my five week anniversary of Blyk not working.

It’s amazing what a network will do when it wants to please its customers.

  1. “When it wants to please its customers”………

………or when their bunch-of-arse prepay data rates are being hung out to dry in front of '250,000 mobile industry executives and fanatics'

  2. In a similar fashion Tmobile just gave me web and walk free for a month, the second time they have done that for free. They also do not know I post here on smstextnews so well done to t mobile.

  3. Ahh, maybe they do though!

Or even if they don't, nice to see they are being nice to their customers. They gave my Mum five free texts the other day; not brilliant, but something!

    Samantha.

  4. Let's remember that major MNO's only have to remain not-quite-as-crap as the competition to look good by comparison.

As far as major MNO's are concerned the bleatings here and on other specialist mobile sites don't amount to a hill of beans compared to ongoing revenue streams like

  5. I'm on contract with Orange – I've had numerous problems with my Nokia N95 – replaced the handset 3 times and still doesn't work properly… latest fault I contacted Orange today and they have now replaced my Nokia N95 with the 8GB version free of charge (I have two months left to run on my contract… can still upgrade properly when my contract is up…) effectively they have given me a brand new phone – I nearly fell off my chair when they told me they were doing this.

Orange are quick to sort their faults… unlike other networks – A friend of mine has had numerous faults with a phone of his with O2 – all they are prepared to do is take the phone for two weeks, repair it then send it back as reconditioned… total crap service… I find Orange very very very good and most helpful…
