This week we’re bringing you an absolute WHOPPER of a show. A veritable whopper.

1. We’re committed to bringing you our show from different, unusual and picturesque locations around London. I think we’ve beaten everything so far by filming from the Tower of London. Special thanks to Tim at the Historic Royal Palaces publicity department. As you might imagine, with almost 1,000 years of history to play with, Ben had a field day with his facts segment. ( 00:47 )

    The 'medium' quality one at 640px wide comes out at around 700mb. Is there

    Well I of course am speaking rather selfishly, but I tend to do a lot
    of watching of this stuff on my iPod touch.. The problem comes when
    the feed is a few days behind the actual post of the podcast. If there
    were a direct link to either the main file or the 3gp file than the
    touch will take that link and queue it up in the media player…
    Basically streams it. Rather self serving request, but I tend to be
    better with direct downloads then remembering to sync so that my new
    podcasts can be downloaded!

    Since you're running it through editing software, could you release a lower bandwidth version? 30 minutes at 1000kbps should be a downloadable size, like around 250MB. I'll try downloading the m4v file, just because I can't watch Vimeo at work.

    Superb as ever – the creative tension between the telephonic trio is compelling.

    The bit where Dan received his T-shirt (thank goodness the boys chose the right colour) was quite moving – there was a tear of joy in his eye!

    The biggest accolade has to go to Ewan – who must has given up hours of his Bank Holiday weekend to edit out all the giggling and naughty words!!

    Today was my first experience of Mobile Industry Review; thoroughly enjoyed it. There are two things which could improve my experience:

    1) Stop the video pausing for a second on a regular basis; we're talking around once a minute, perhaps more (running on a MBP w/10.5.2)

    2) Whatleydude stopping interrupting the true stars of the show with bits of useless trivia.

    I'll be watching again!

    The pausing is nothing to do with us — it works smoothly with my 32GB ram
    Mac Pro ;-) Were you viewing the Vimeo video or did you download it?

    And as for Whatleydude's trivia, it is loved and obsessed over by many!

    word up, great show, so yes you should defo do a proper video podcast version fed into the current audio podcast feed :)

    then i can watch it on my ipod etc, which would be awesome!

    you could encode a lower res version for that i reckon

    just thought i'd mention that engadget are reporting that the blackberry bold video where it gets trounced by the iphone over 3g has been shown to not be the case

    apparently the bold was on edge, not wifi. ack! ah well, i'm not a fan of blackberry's anyway, so don't mind either way :p

    another annoyingly good podcast, one of the very few i watch on a regular basis… i do believe however that the Blackberry Bold / iPhone comparision has been disproved, in that the Bold dropped back to a 2G connection as opposed to the WiFi connection it was meant to be using, hence the slow download of the content, but what do i know ;-)
