Do check out PuskaRadio

I got back and had a look at PuskaRadio. Alas I haven’t got a decent Nokia around to actually use. So I’m imagining it sounds good. That together with the tons of positive feedback I’ve had from folk this evening raving about it.

Got a Nokia? Download the app and have a go and tell me what you think.

Sharing your location with your friends has never been this easy! And its free!*

No registration. No credit cards. No hassle!

To share your location you need a mobile phone with an internal or an external GPS, and a network connection.

The only thing your friend needs to know, or do, is to open the link you sent with SMS, which they can use to track you on any PC or Mobile phone with a web browser.

Puskaradio is so easy, even my mother knows how to use it!

And if you need someone to text to try it out on — +44 7769 658 104 is me.

  1. Ewan – it works – well.

You can send your current GPS location by SMS to another phone and they click the link and up pops ypou on a map – brilliant! Easiest GPS location sharing tool I have used, and I've used a few with my LBS hat on.

  2. Will have a play with this today – I really wish there was one service that combine it all – combining a Friends List, GPS software, etc, so you get notifications if friends are near. BrightKite is nearly there, but you need to update your status manually. I want something that will use the GPS in my phone to SEND my location automatically, and i'd get /send notifications to friends that I was nearby. and recieve them from nearby friends. If someone could do that – I'd be very impressed.
