Come on 3UK where's your "trial" When they rang me the other day and we talked about broadband dongles they offered up a paltry 3 day trial for the service - even after being told that I wanted it but was only going to signup to a contract if it actually works at our home properly. 3 days!

i agree with Kip hakes said "I suspect they'll have a lot of dongles thrown back at them - their 3G network is pony. I live in Chelmsford, i'm mostly using GPRS. Even in SW London it flutters between 2G-3.5G. I was ooop North a few weeks ago and for the whole time I didn't even see the 3G logo. It is terrible. I imagine they are hoping people will sign up and accept the bad service and carry on paying.
"

I'm really suspicious of my Vodafone dongle. It worked like a dream when I first purchased it until about two weeks after when it began slowing down, losing signal etc.

HOWEVER

I happened to buy a new laptop and when I began using it from that the first two weeks (again) were great. Then, alas, it went crap again.

Call me paranoid but...

It's a conspiracy. A conspiracy I tell you!

I dont understand... O2 have the best 2G coverage. (I have tried and tested all the networks)
But 3G/HSPA is so bad. why? I really wouldn't bother with going Mobile Broadband with them. Not until they catch up. I've been using 3 Mobile broadband and it's great. 3.6mbps all the time!
