Samsung UK arn't keen on the dual SIM devices for fear of upsetting the UK networks. They don't like dual SIM devices with a passion. As much I love them, I can't see them getting massive amount of traction here. The D880 also couldn't support GPRS on the 2nd SIM card. Lets hope the newer devices fix this flaw.

I'd use a Dual SIM mobile: One SIM for a local number and Data and one SIM for an international number, a la united-mobile.com. Then again, I do travel a lot.

The issue in here in the UK is that normobs are reliant of the networks subsidy, and no network in their right mind would take up one of these unless they could lock them! I really think it is a useful idea, I would love one for my main number and my spare (Blyk) number (yes I still use that), but in the end if its going to cost to much it is easier simply to carry two mobiles!
