Nokia has discontinued the WIMAX version of it’s N810 Tablet computer – 4 months after it was released.
WIMAX is just starting a big roll-out in the US, though it’s been a slow start.
Cellular operators also seem to be adopting LTE rather than WIMAX and so it’s a niche market – which probably isn’t economical for Nokia to get into.
The WiFi/Bluetooth N810 is still around.
