N810 WIMAX Tablet no longer

Nokia has discontinued the WIMAX version of it’s N810 Tablet computer – 4 months after it was released.

WIMAX is just starting a big roll-out in the US, though it’s been a slow start.

Cellular operators also seem to be adopting LTE rather than WIMAX and so it’s a niche market – which probably isn’t economical for Nokia to get into.

The WiFi/Bluetooth N810 is still around.
