I was on one of the few official market research groups for Nokia Maps in the UK, with 4 other guys. We were all very experienced with phones, and mapping apps. We all agreed Nokia Maps 2.0 was TERRIBLE. I gave Nokia a 30-something point list of things that needed fixing or redesigning, many of which were fundamental flaws, not quick fixes. Just for starters routing was plain wrong or just insane, on every route I planned, and the interface was totally illogical and clunky. Maps 3.0 is little better. It has great potential, but is indeed rubbish at the moment. I use TomTom for driving, and Google Maps for walking, but would shift to NM in a moment if it was half decent.

Will try although although they want to talk about Maps 3.0... which would require a re-test.
