I’m using London Bus in the iPhone to help me get around the bus transport system here in London. I particularly like the real time ‘track me’ feature – so useful if you don’t remember or know the exact route.
Utter genius. Get it on the app store for a few quid.

Is it likely that a symbian version of this will become available?
I suspect not, Dani.
The track me feature is interesting, but it doesn't seem to offer anything more than the free apps in my country (mmpk, Przewodas, etc). There you enter the stop you start at and the stop you want to reach and it lists all the possible routes with details (ie travel 3 stops to street a with bus 60, wait 5 minutes for bus 53, travel 5 stops with it, etc). And that's enough for me :). Still, it's nice that you Appleholics also get that sort of goodness, too bad it's just London though.
Agreed, a list is all you need — the 'track me' feature just saves you that extra 30 seconds … and also makes you feel like you're living in the 21st Century 😀
You're right about the 21st century remark, but it all depends on the usage. It's wonderful if you're a fresh tourist and are worried about getting where you need to, but I usually just check the list, throw the device into my pocket and storm out of the house while praying to all the deities I know for making it on time! 😛
