Isn't this just a T-Mobile version of the recently announced HTC Hero?

Looks nice… but I was hoping for another QWERTY android to replace the orginal G1.

The specs are interesting. Is it made by HTC again like HTC Dream/T-mob G1? In any case, I'm not going to buy one, I've just got myself a new device. You guys are going to get angry/disappointed (especially Ewan ), but it's a Samsung i780. Windows Mobile device. The out of the box experience was downright terrible, second only to the Siemens C35i. But after tweaking it a bit it's great – runs quick, multitasks nicely, brilliant satnav programs, good PIM functions, pocketable and the QWERTY is nice. It's way more powerful than most other Windows Mobile devices, especially HTC's. All the new HTC's are less capable than Windows Mobile PDAs from a few years back. Heck, even the TyTN II has less processing power than the first TyTN! And unfortunately, it probably won't change.
