Would you buy a Palm Pre if you could?

I just got this mailer through from Sprint about the Palm Pre. I’m tempted. Obviously I can’t get it from Sprint whilst I’m in the UK. But for all the Brits reading, it’s coming to the o2 shortly.

So how about it?

    You know how much I'm looking forward to this device. Thinking about it, if you get one before me and don't ask me to write it up Ill be hurt.

    I was really looking forward to its appearance when the first rumours began but since the reviews have been a bit mixed I'm not so sure now.

    You can argue that Android phones aren't quite there yet but each one released so far has improved upon its predecessor. And that's just with HTC's involvement. When we start to see the other manufacturers churning them out there's going to be a pretty rapid rate of development. Then I ask myself, when are Palm going to launch the next iteration of the Pre (or anything else runnning WebOS for that matter)?
