I’m sorry it’s such a blurred shot – I only managed to get hands-on with it for seconds. But I can confirm the new handset coming from Onyx is dual-sim Android. And you know what? Android looks like it handles dual-sim functionality brilliantly. I mean simply brilliantly. In the photo you can see the two signals from each network. When you want to make a call or send a text, just select the sim first.
Absolutely ideal as your ‘MaxRoam’ handset for when you’re abroad, for example. I understand Onyx will be bringing this to market shortly and should have a solid timeframe soon. And I will get some better shots of it soon, too.

heh ewan, where did you see this pic, im in shanghai and i would like to track down and source this mobile. so far ive seen NO android mobiles released by the carriers. exception being the oPhone 3g bastard child of China Mobile.
I took the picture, weirdshanghai, with my Blackberry Bold (it's not got a brilliant close-up camera). I took the photo in One Alfred Place when I was having a look at the device.
Does it have a Physical or a Virtual keyboard? Am I right in thinking that the only physical keyboard Android on the market right now or in the pipeline is the G1?
It's a virtual keyboard, Moof. There's an HTC with a physical keyboard coming soon — and Motorola's new Android device has a physical keyboard too.
