Nokia buys Dopplr. Right on.

TechCrunch’s Mr A has the story on the Dopplr acquisition.

Right on. This is very good news for Marko Ahtisaari, co-founder and CEO and former Nokia Director of Design Strategy. 1.25m EURO funding and an exit of around 10-15m EURO?

Good maaaaaaan, Marko!

Nokia just needs a nice new raft of devices with some sensible normob-friendly interfaces for acquisitions such like this to play upon.

    Good for him! But for Nokia? Come on, have you used dopplr? It never works for me while tripit is always spot on! I feel I agree with what Om Malik posted in his blog

    I'm actually quite excited to see Nokia continuing to make these kind of acquisitions Nacho! But you know me, if I look too closely at Nokia, I simply can't stand the slow pace and somewhat continually crazy decisions the company often takes… here's hoping it'll work out well!
