The roles are full-time, based in Maidenhead outside London, attract £30k basic + 10% bonus and benefits — and, I imagine, you won’t need to worry about your phone bills either.

The job in a nutshell

Our business is focused on having a two-way conversation with customers and non-customers that will shape our growth and brand success so social media, PR talkability and customer management are crucial. We will rely on these channels to grow trust, engender loyalty, ensure effective customer service and endear people to the 3 brand.

This role is about managing 3UK’s engagement on social media platforms.

What else it involves
Manage all customer facing engagements via social media platforms:

Be an influencer in the social media and mobile space on behalf of 3 and outreach to bloggers, industry experts and influencers to get 3 on their agendas

Creation of consistent and personal communications with customers:

Actively grow fans, followers and viewers through conversations in social online spaces such as facebook, twitter, youtube, bebo etc.

Generate social media content that supports product and brand developments and tone of voice:
Use an integrated communications approach to amplify campaign messages and carve out a strong 3 personality across social media platforms
Maintain a central file of customer and comment information
Recommendations on community development & the use of social media
Assessment and analysis against KPIs

The skills we are looking for

Must Have:

An active participation in and solid understanding of social media
Excellent standard of written and spoken English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
Ability to produce compelling presentations and reports

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of the sector and the business
Experience dealing with senior management
Academic or professional qualification in a marketing or business discipline OR
Consumer or corporate PR experience OR
Customer service experience
An understanding of the issues affecting the mobile industry
