The Deltenna WiBE has arrived in the office

The world’s most reliable MiFi? This is the daddy of the MiFi world, delivering a phenomenally good data signal almost anywhere — especially in the middle of nowhere with a very faint data signal.

Well it’s got FOUR huge antennas, James. I’ll get some stats on it…

Shouldn’t one be careful of the radiation that it emits?

You practically have a base station sitting on the desk now! :)

I will need to read the instructions…

Yes, I hear in some town the councils have stopped clearing away the pile of bodies from people killed by mobile base station radiation…

  • JamesVincent

Hahaha. Not somethin that bothers me. Wish my sure signal was a lil more powerful. I want one…

  • http://benjam.in Ben Smith

I think the key thing is that it’s *not* more powerful – it’s more sensitive and directional so it makes the best of the signal that’s available.

Middle of nowhere with hardly any mobile signal? Send it on over for a test ;)

  • JamesVincent

Thanks Ewan. Look forward to more details on it. So is it just 3G/HSPA? or 2G/EDGE too?
Ben, good point. More on the pulling in a very weak signal I’ve heard.

You can get them on Amazon. If you like this one there is an upgrade to a Hubba too in the same family of products, that has a VoIP prioritisation unit in it, works really well. Gives me a 3G broadband hotspot and my phone calls through a VoIP handset.
