Unlimited Drinks London is tomorrow night. I am really looking forward to it. It’s going to be brilliant.

If you haven’t already emailed to get on the guest list, please do so at the link above. We’re extremely busy — well over our 150 person limit, however I’m working on the basis that some people won’t be able to make it and that, actually, 150 people don’t usually turn up at once. Do get there early, if you don’t want to be left standing with your nose pressed against the window.

I’ve got one important requirement for every attendee: That is to meet and thank the chaps at NinetyTen. They are graciously supporting Unlimited Drinks and enabling us here at SMS Text News to actually put on the event. The quid-pro-quo is that I’d like everyone to do the following:

1. Take a look at the NinetyTen site. These chaps are working hard to deliver smart and efficient mobile social services. They’ve put their money where their mouth is by supporting Unlimited Drinks.
2. Take a look at their flagship product, BuddyPing. They’ll be releasing an all new native Symbian client shortly that promises to be rather sexy.
3. Have a listen to the podcast interviews with both co-founder Justin and Sales Director David.
4. At the event, please seek out Justin, David and David. Meet them. Exchange cards. See if you can find ways to do business together.

If you can’t wait ’til Monday for the next scheduled podcast then I’ve got a surprise in store. Following the brilliant response to the special report podcast we did with Justin Davies of NinetyTen (the people behind BuddyPing), I’m pleased to bring you a conversation with David Hogben, COO of NinetyTen.

David and I used the new SMS Text News telephone podcast service (thank you, Dan Lane, for setting that up). We had a wide ranging chat, delving in to his background (he’s a serial entrepreneur and recently sold a 3G video streaming company), talking about the future for BuddyPing and discussing the industry as it stands.

David, Justin and the NinetyTen team are supporting the SMS Text News Unlimited Drinks next week. Thank you!

If you’re an iTunes subscriber, you can find the podcast waiting for you in your SMS Text News folder. Otherwise, you can subscribe to the feed with iTunes here. If you’d like to add the podcast feed to your device (Your N95, for example), you need this feed.

Or, start listening to the podcast now. Enjoy.

Did you see it? A bonus!

Did you see it slip, carefully — quietly, even — into your iTunes podcasts this morning? (If you were a subscriber to the SMS Text News Twitter feed, you’d have known about this last night, obviously — that’s where we stick it cool stuff before we publish it)

Yes! Justin Davies, Co-Founder of NinetyTen, makers of BuddyPing — and sponsors of the upcoming SMS Text News Unlimited Drinks event — popped into to SMS Text News Towers on Friday afternoon, after we did the main podcast.

Have a listen. Justin has been through the ringer when it comes to mobile social networking. He’s held court at the great and the good from Silicon Valley and beyond dispensing his viewpoints. We had a wide ranging discussion — from charting the rise and continued rise of NinetyTen as a mobile social networking powerhouse, to looking at the depressing challenges facing the industry today. Definitely worth a listen:
