			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Pope will be on his way to Australia later this year for World Youth Day, and he&#8217;s already got plans to text followers when he lands. According to Aussie mobile operator Telstra, the Pope is planning to send daily &#8220;inspirational text messages&#8221; to his followers.</p>
<p>His Holiness is evidently a bit of a fan of high tech, and will also be using a World Youth Day social networking site, digital prayer walls, and Regional Catechesis webcast over Telstra&#8217;s 3G network. Telstra also said it will be setting up special precincts &#8211; &#8220;on the ground interactive centreâ€™s including wireless internet, green screen studios, commemorative WYD08 photo messaging and music downloads&#8221;.  Nice to see the Pope is a bit fan of data servicesâ€¦</p>
