Biography:
Mark is the Communications Manager at MX Telecom, the largest aggregator of SMS, MMS, voice and video content in the UK. MX Telecom was founded in 2000 to provide a technical platform for businesses to capitalise on the explosive growth in mobile communications and micro-payment solutions and today enjoys a highly respected industry position.
Working for a highly respected and engaged company with offices in London and New York, Mark benefits from a wealth of industry contacts and relationships the company has developed over almost a decade. These include fellow mobile data aggregators, content providers, creative digital agencies, regulatory bodies and other trade associations.
He is responsible for liaising with other trade associations, manages internal communication and oversees the public face of MX Telecom.
Mark's previous role as PR and Marketing Manager at Dynmark International, a mobile data aggregator and messaging software provider, provides an alternative, SME-targetted perspective which informs his role within the MDA. He also has public sector experience through Communications positions within Cardiff University and the Welsh Assembly Government.
