SMS is better than calling ;-)

Bloenfontein – The swimming trunks Ryk Neethling wore at the Olympic Games in Athens are up for sale again after a Bloemfontein student failed to pay the R5 000 she had bid at a charity auction.

Lee-Ann Oosthuizen, 21, made her bid on Saturday night in an auction organised to raise money for a former Free State University Rag queen paralysed in an accident.

Organiser Hermien Bornman said Oosthuizen sent her an SMS on Sunday morning to say she couldn’t afford the costume.

I just love how SMS is integrated into much of our global social fabric nowadays.
