Mobile media company Player X and operator 3 UK have teamed up to launch geekTV, the only made-for-mobile TV channel on 3 UK’s network. The channel is a mixture of well-known entertainment brands such as Miami Vice and American Dad, original IP and user-generated content that allows 3 UK customers to view the content with an option to download to their handsets.
I’ve been admiring Three’s TV options for a little while now. Only yesterday I was watching their ‘what’s hot on Three’ show. Very smart. I look forward to checking out geekTV.
