Book tickets on India’s Kingfisher Airline by text

Kingfisher Airlines has tied-up with PayMate, a wireless transaction company, to offer its customers the simplest way to book flight tickets — ‘FlyBuySms’.

Neat.

‘FlyBuySms’ is an SMS-based service, which allows customers to search, book, and pay for their flight tickets — all from their mobiles. The service is independent of handset type or operator, and does away with the need for an Internet connection.

With ‘FlyBuySms’, customers can buy tickets entirely from their mobiles, without having to go through the hassle of registering or downloading forms.

Kudos to the company behind it, PayMate.
