Garmin’s mobile text competition

screenshot

Saw this in the Evening Standard this afternoon. Interesting to see Garmin are eating their own medicine. Or sausages. I wonder how the mobile marketing campaign is working out for them. I’ve sent off a text message to try it out anyway. You never know, I might win.

Originally I thought the call-to-action was for me to be able to download their application to my handset and have a play about with it. That struck me as the most logical offering. Still, a text-to-win is still a good idea.

If you’d like to participate in the competition — text GARMIN2 to 60033 — standard rates apply and it’s UK only, alas.
