Mindmatics set to receive 15k texts/second from Eurovision viewers

The Eurovision Dance Contest is a pan-European television show featuring couples doing some kind of dancing. Ballroom, I suspect.

You can find out more here: http://www.eurovisiondance.tv/.

They key point of this post, however, is to congratulate MindMatics upon winning the text voting business for the contest. Their systems are going to be pummeled by the voting audience. 15,000 texts a second is quite a volume!

Congratulations Mindmatics.

I won’t be watching (or voting) as I’ll be leaving on a jet plane tomorrow afternoon for San Francisco. If I wasn’t, you can guarantee I’d be glued to this because my other half can’t get enough of ballroom dancing shows.
