Ministry of Sound announces three exclusive handset bundles

Ministry of Sound, the global dance music brand, dance music record label and famous night club in South London have announced the launch of three exclusive handset bundle, each with the popular handset manufacturers of Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung.

As a part of the deal, media content from the superclub brand will be pre-loaded onto handsets on three select handsets available from today.

Van Uong, the brand licensing manager at MoS, said:

Because Ministry of Sound is the world’s largest independent record label with a large and loyal following, we are able to work closely with our handset partners to create exclusive bundles which have huge appeal with the 16-24 year old demographic and are in discussions to launch additional packages later in the year.

The handsets have been carefully chosen to target the 16-24 year old masses and will come with music tracks from Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi, videos, wallpapers and ringtones. The company has also included exclusive competitions and offers of exclusive merchandise. The handsets will be available via retail partners Grattan, Vodafone and DataSelect.

Here are the details of the handsets:

The Ministry of Sound have previously worked up thoughts on launching their own MVNO. The MoS is a largely popular brand on a global scale and handset bundles is a good way of leveraging the brand name into the crowds.

  1. This is a good marketing move for Ministry of Sound to further spread its music and for cleverly thinking of mobile phones as medium and its users as target. Since its music is popular world wide, it will also be helpful to have a SMS alerts to all MoS fanatics regarding concert updates and album launch.
