Help: Worldwide SMS Campaign agency/aggregator required

I had this email in today from a reader looking for some assistance.

Have a read:

I’m currently contracting into a large global email esp – one of their global clients has requested help with sms campaigns – across US, Latin America, EMEA and Asia pac.

Can you recommend any agency/software provider that might be able to help?

I’ve been in touch with 2ergo (lacked the global reach needed) already.

Cheers

Who do you suggest?

  1. Why not give us a call at OnePoint Mobile surveys we have global reach for sms campaigns as well as sms and wap surveys on mobile.

  2. There isn't a global aggregator for sms. There are large players by region so most likely you need to coordinate with 3 to 4 of them to have global coverage.

  3. Hi Ivan,

If you're calling an international number, are you still only charged if the call actually connects? Issues I can imagine happening… not all plans allow calls to overseas numbers, furthermore what happens if the user calls from a landline, or if their number is withheld, or can't for whatever reason be detected.. Theoretically a work around to global inbound comms, but a more sensible approach might be to just use a long number, and accept that many users will have to pay an international rate to send to it!

  4. Our software platform, Campaign Mobile, enables SMS campaigns across all the regions you require. We service over 200 countries in total.

Here's a list of our coverage:

The platform can be used “self-service” from the public website or we can tailor a deployment to your requirements. As well as broadcasting SMS campaigns, you can integrate the system into your websites, build mobile pages, and get detailed reporting.

If you'd like more info, please email me on:

  5. Contact MACH connectivity.

MACH connectivity is based in Germany with its own SMSC and dedicated SS7 links to more than 530 MNO's in the world. MACH Mobile services provide several SMS bulk provision services, a Number Lookup service and Virtual SIM hosting.

    Lets connect.

  6. Hi nice to meet you – we can offer premium and/or standard in most countries (we connect to over 600 networks globally) – please drop me a line any time you can find us via http://www.sonicmobile.com or Australia: 1 800 196 987, USA: 1 800 592 3421, UK: 0800 055 6012, NZ: 0800 776 622 or +61 405 984-999.

  7. Ewan – just a thought. Rather than the world and his wife jump in, perhaps it's worth getting a little more clarity from the reader on what exactly they require. They mentioned 2ergo lacked the global reach – would this be down to lack of shortcode coverage, or perhaps bulk SMS reach?

Whilst every man and his dog seems to have an outbound SMS solution to reach umpteen million countries, it's a completely different matter when you want things like long numbers, shortcodes, and (quite importantly) something that's going to tick the boxes when it comes to reliability, throughput and reach.

  8. There are minimal issues with the numbers. Basically we are talking mobile phones here, thus any UK number will do and works for our clients. The call is not charged because there is no voice connection. OK, you wanna try yourself? Call +35-315-26-29-28. Choose 1 or 2 when a menu is delivered.
