Mobile Convention Amsterdam arrives on 19th April 2011

Last year, executives from two Holland-based companies had an epiphany of sorts. Frustrated that there was no European forum event targeted specifically to their interests in the m-Commerce field, they took matters into their own hands and set one up.

The result was Mobile Convention Amsterdam 2010. Founded by business magazine Emerce and SMS aggregator, CM, the event saw an array of mobile luminaries swapping best practice case studies.

The event is back and rocking next year, so if your focus is m-Commerce, definitely take a look. They’ve already confirmed a first round of speakers from the likes of Ogilvy, Netbiscuits, AKQA, Mobile Youth and the BBC.

But they’re hunting ‘for papers’ — i.e. if you’re interested, you too could find yourself on the podium presenting. All you need to do is contact the organisers quickly.

The site you need for all the event information is: http://www.mobileconventionamsterdam.nl/.

I’m going to see if I can pop over for this one!
