ON Voicefeed: Watch the video and then download the app

Giles Corbett, top man at Life Is Better ON, makers of ON Voicefeed, did an excellent presentation at Demo recently. The video is now live on Youtube and offers an excellent introduction to their visual voicemail service.

I’ve been testing it for quite a while and I have to say I am particularly impressed at the ability to offer my friends, family and business contacts a unique and customised voicemail greeting. And it’s ridiculously easy to use.

Watch the video here:

And download the app here (iTunes link)

  1. Hey Yars,

We don’t want to talk on behalf of Ewan, so from our perspective the difference between our app and Hullomail is ON Voicefeed’s unique custom greeting feature.
ON Voicefeed allows you to personalise your voicemail greetings for individuals or a group of contacts by recording a message or typing it thanks to our text-to-speech technology.

If you have additional questions about the app, feel free to get in touch with us via Twitter (@lifeisbetteron) or Facebook (facebook.com/lifeisbetteron).

  2. Thanks.
I did try it for a bit, but must admit I found the website a bit of a turn off, too much flash.
Good iPhone app though. Will revisit in a few months. For me, the ease of getting my voice mails straight to my gmail account wins out for hullomail.

  3. Thanks for your feedback and your suggestions Yars!
We’re working on a new version of the lifeisbetteron.com web interface and it should be available this summer.
Regarding the voicemails to mail feature, we’re also working on more ways to get and listen to your voicemails – including speech to text. Keep an eye out for updates and feel free to get back to us if you have more suggestions!

  4. I just installed the app and am looking forward to use it. I usually don’t post such comments but I am impressed by your responsiveness online and your customer feedback. Even though your competitor is on the market for a longer time (to my knowledge), this is what made me chose you. Keep up the good work!

  5.  Great presentation, and a seriously flawed app.  Downloaded it.  Took days.  That’s right DAYS, for it to sync all my contacts.  Now it constantly crashes.  Save yourself the time and hassle and avoid this
