Do you think there’s a future for Nokia?
I hope there’s a future for Nokia. My question is, did they sign an exclusive with MS? Why don’t they start producing handsets with Android on it along with WP? No reason to put all your OS eggs in 1 OS basket.
HTC, LG, Samsung and many others are making phones for more then just Android.
And Matt’s totally right, a lot of us have jumped ship. Some like myself haven’t given up and still sport a Nokia sometimes. I’m using an N8 as a secondary phone right now.

I think you make some excellent points. What about the future though? What would Nokia need to do (in the context of the strategy they’ve disclosed) to generate sufficient attention from you?
And don’t mention Android. The more I use it, the more I’m convinced it’s actually rather poor. The fact it’s half decent and ‘free’ has helped it along. But the fragmentation? Dear me. Dear, dear me.

That would be very interesting. Especially after I just said this week that I never want a WP7 device. Maybe Mango will change my mind.

I don’t think anyone — apart from some of the ultra hardcore Symbian
followers — would disagree that Nokia got it wrong.
