Coming to BlackBerry Jam Europe? Here’s a 50% discount code!

Have you been wondering what the gathering fuss is about? BlackBerry 10 is fast approaching — everything goes nuts tomorrow from about 3pm London Time. Luckily, there’s a conference next week dedicated to the BlackBerry 10 platform. The three keynote speakers are RIM’s top platform executives (Alec Saunders, Christopher Smith and Martyn Mallick) — and if it’s laid out anything like the previous BlackBerry Europe events I’ve been to, there will be plenty of opportunity to talk directly to them, as well as the assembled RIM partners.

If you’re responsible for mobile ecosystems for your brand or business and if RIM isn’t already on your radar, it’s time to re-think that. I think it’s fair to say that we’ve all seen enough from the (managed?) leaks in the lead up to tomorrow’s launch to establish that BB10 is worthy of attention.

Obviously we all need to see how the market will respond over the next months to judge performance — either way, I suggest that it’s worth your while giving the company a) some attention and b) listening closely to their market propositions.

Next week’s BlackBerry Jam represents an excellent opportunity to network and talk with a wide array of key RIM players, partners and operators.

The event is taking place at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre. The regular conference pass retails at €300 — but use this code (DJEG22) to get a whopping 50% discount. Quickly.

If you’re heading out there, let me know. I’ll be there. Read up on the event here.

And if you’d like to get an idea of how committed the RIM team is, here’s Alec Saunders and Martyn Mallick jumping off the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas in a symbolic (and rather brave!) leap of faith:
