This startup has developed an iPhone cover that enables you to control your phone using the surface around your phone. Oh yes. It’s like a huge multi-touch extension to your iPhone screen. They’ve got a great demo video that auto-plays on their website front-page when you visit.

Definitely take a minute to have a look and keep these guys in mind for future projects. The applications of this kind of technology once when it becomes mainstream will be fascinating.
