SMS still a craze among the Chinese

BEIJING, JANUARY 24:  Chinese mobile phone subscribers sent a record 304.65 billion short messages (SMS) last year, up nearly 40 per cent over 2004, boosting revenues, a report said here.

300 billion texts? Geez!  That’s A) a lot of revenue and B) a heck of a lot of annoying beeps ;-)
