Pity poor Lauren of Sonus PR. She’s just got a text message from o2 telling her that her new iPhone will be ‘couriered’ to her tomorrow morning. ??The only trouble is, Lauren was told yesterday – by o2 – that her original web order didn’t go through. She got an order number but the actual transaction ‘failed’. They apologised. She got free line rental for a month as an apology. ??Then this text message arrived. A quick call to o2, then. Lauren spoke to customer services just now… Who are no doubt bored of the iPhone debacle. The lady at CS explained that everyone who tried ordering got the ‘courier’ text, regardless, it seems whether or not the order went through. ??’But have I ordered one or not?’ asked Lauren.??The CS solution offered: ‘Wait and see if you get one on Friday.’??Ah deary me. Still…. ??(This post authored in the front of William Redmond’s taxi on Amiens Street, Dublin, Ireland. Talk to William if you need a good taxi in Ireland.)
