Nokia HS-43 headphones are machine washable*

* According to our very own James Whatley. He mistakenly put them into the washing machine last night. He reckons they’re still working perfectly.

Useful to know, eh?

So are the Nokia BH-903. Not really washable, but they do work if you dropped them in a bucket of water and out.

James, I can feel a new series for MIR – where you experiment with all your accessories and handsets to see if they pass this test too.

    Up for it?

Maybe you can throw a few test devices in there as well – I did think it was the one thing missing from the N97 review!

If he's up for it, I'd highly suggest trying on with the N97 first. Haha..

HEH now as editor of MIR I am not sure I can approve sticking a 700 quid
handset in a bucket of water… that would make me CRY!

No, I want them to go through a full cycle in the washing machine!
