SMS Text News for iPhone launched

I’d actually like to create a proper version of SMS Text News to work on the iPhone — something customised, like the dedicated Facebook iPhone interface. However that’s quite beyond my skills, I reckon.

So I have modified the script to hunt for the iPhone browser reference in the user-agent — and if it finds it, that is, if you’re browsing SMS Text News on your iPhone, you’ll be shown the main site. No arsing around with the mobile version.

    The Web is written on desktop PC’s and anything else is just second-rate. Full-fat Internet should be the standard that all mobile internet devices aim for.
