I’m in San Francisco: Let’s go for lunch

I’ve been meaning to post a formalised announcement of my arrival in San Francisco. I keep on surprising people who call expecting to find me in London.

I’m here in the centre of the Universe until the end of February to see what’s going on in the mobile industry. If you’re doing something hot connected with mobile, let’s hook up — on the phone (415 305 4926), by email ( or in person here in SF.

In the picture is Dan Ilett of green technology blog Greenbang on the left and me on the right, standing in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Could you tell me some the reasons why you are not going to attend the GSMA Mobile world congress in Barcelona.

I was hoping to get out again in Q1 but what with MWC (the conference formerly known as 3GSM) in Barcelona as well as a certain SpinVox event at The ICA… it’s looking increasing unlikely.

But – rest assured – I’ll let you know if the situation changes.
