Zumobi UI demonstrated; partnership with Microsoft

Jason Langridge, senior exec over at Microsoft Mobile Communications, posted a Youtube video of the all new Zumobi mobile interface. I made a note to document it here. Zumobi works on an array of different handsets — most notably the Microsoft range of smartphones — and the iPhone.

Jason reports that Zumobi have signed an agreement with Microsoft to deliver their UI on to the software maker’s operating system. Check out the slick video below:

It looks smart.

There’s one thing that still annoys me with Windows Mobile though: The graphics. It really, really, really winds me up when you click something and the device takes a few seconds — or even a second — to register and react. Irritates the hell out of me. Still, I’ll see if I can check out Zumobi shortly.
