Both Dan and I couldn’t get enough of this Iridium Satellite Phone that I’ve been sent for the Desert Island feature.
It doesn’t matter how much you look at your top of the range Nokia or fancy iPhone, the Iridium handset knocks everything else for six.
It works. Anywhere. Nice.
Dude – PROPER James Bond stuff… that rocks.
So that's a good Motorola review from SMSTextNews then?
<looks up, scans for Porcine Aviation>
Now PROPER James Bond stuff would be a mobile-size phone with satellite coverage, not something you could play ping-pong with….
….although the phone does need to communicate with a satellite that's at least 400 miles away moving at 17,000MPH. The call handoff algorithm required is literal rocket science. Maybe T-Mo could benefit from their input 😉
