Les is Vodafone’s best leader in Europe

Les Blacker is due congratulations. Les is the Contact Centre Leader at Vodafone’s Warrington centre. He’s just won the category, Best Contact Centre Leader for Europe (EMEA region), at The Contact Centre Awards. Good news! Lucky Les now goes on to the World awards held in Las Vegas in November. I hope they fly him first class, eh?

In case you’re wondering, the Contact Centre World Awards in Las Vegas this November will see the very best of Customer Service agents and contact centres competing for the world titles. Les will be up against the winners in his category from the other two regions in the competition – the Americas and APAC (Asia-Pacific).

A nod also to Steven Williams, also from Warrington Customer Services team, was up for Best Customer Service Agent in the EMEA region, and was awarded the bronze medal for his customer skills in a category where he was competing against agents from South Africa, Cyprus and the UK. Have it!

Then there’s the Vodafone Stoke Ultra High Value contact centre. If you’re put through there when you dial 191, you know that you’re a massively prized customer, or really good complainer. The team there have been shortlisted for a Highly Commended award in the Best Customer Service category, and the contact centre picked up the runner’s-up prize for the European title. Good news!
