Autotrader to revamp its mobile site

It may get 10 million unique users and more than 700 million page impressions every month, but it seems the used car mag Auto Trader isn’t happy with its web site. Or at least the mobile side of its website; it’s just hired an agency to build a new one.

The release, which uses five paragraphs to say little more than two fifths of nowt, says the “mobile strategist” Sponge will create, design and host the WAP site. Sponge will also provide content management, content delivery and a reporting and analysis service.

Auto Trader currently features classified adverts for around 410, 000 vehicles in its weekly online and print publications.

Sadly there is no information on what new features the WAP site will have but we’ll keep an eye out for it.
