With special guest Alfie Dennen from Moblog the team discuss the new Moblog platform, Three’s hoodie-hating store, Christmas in July, the iPhone (heard of it?) app store, O2’s continuing epic-fail to provide Dan a service, an update on everyone’s favourite toy – the personal mobile network – and a special follow-up feature on James’s brand evangelism post this week with some tips for Carphone Warehouse (no carphones, not a warehouse)…. As ever it’s all wrapped up with the regular ‘things of the week’.

Good shout in the '3 Christmas' section chaps:

Favourite quote:
James Whatley: “It's a smart phone, I'm a smart guy…”
We're geniuses, we really are
Indeed!
Which will you be getting?
i will be wanting the 1 that was not listed… the BlackBerry Bold 🙂
It is a a gorgeous device
Depends on prices given my desire to move as many handsets as possible
onto PAYG now the data is the same price as contract ok Three…
Really had my heart set on an E71 but the Blackberry Bold looks
excellent and it's a pleasent surprise to see it on Three. Should
probably ask to trial the Experia – really hate Windows mobile based
on limited experience with the earlierst versions, but people keep
telling me it's improved…

be very careful of Windows Mobile… very careful. It still really doesn't
perform to spec as yet…
I mentioned the blackberry but dismissed it because three haven't carried blackberries in the past 😛
Yeah – it is a real 'too good to be true list'. I think you could be
forgiven fir that…

Hey just listened, about the MMS flaw that is absolutely shocking. Oh dear!
About Brand Evangelism, I think its something all companies should be doing. From what I have seen of Vodafone's service it looks very good. You don't seen any other Uk operator doing that!
