Betavine gives away £20,000

Betavine (which is run by Vodafone as their “open” development site) held their 2 year party last week and pre-announced their Opera Widget competition which officially opened today.

Any registered Betavine user (and it’s free to register) can enter. Widgets can be developed by teams, but entries will only be accepted from individuals, so it would be up to the, to split the winnings with the rest of their team members.

Widgets must run in Opera for Mobile 9.5 and run on Nokia 6210, Nokia N78, Nokia N95 8gb and Nokia N96 devices.

Various Betavine people and Ryan Carson (of Carsonified) will judge the competition.
