Appnation: The Mother of all App Events

If you’re into mobile apps, you should be aware of Appnation. And you should also be attending. The conference, founded by the former Chairman of ad:tech, Drew Ianni, is taking place on the 13th-14th of September at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. It’s going to be huge. Absolutely huge.

Keynotes confirmed include: Ilja Laurs, CEO of GetJar; Smule Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Dr. Ge Wang; and Executives From Time Inc, Marvel Entertainment, Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, Mediabrands and Initiative Media (Interpublic), Nielsen Telecom, The North Face, The Wall Street Journal, and Zynga.

Nice.

This is perfect, perfect timing. The app economy is growing in leaps and bounds and the market is in real need of a dedicated conference and exposition. I’m very much looking forward to see what Drew and his team come up with.

You can get involved too. Although they’ve got a good list of keynotes, they’re most definitely looking for contributions, so if you’re into apps and you’ve got something to say, talk to Drew and get involved. If you’d like an introduction, just send me an email.

I’m going to make sure I’m there.
