The cheapest iPhone offer ever from Orange?

I just spotted this offer from Orange in today’s Independent: An iPhone 3GS, free, for £15/month on a 24-month contract. At this contract price point, the iPhone has truly become a phone of the people. Anyone who wants one (and who can pass the credit check) can have one. I wonder how many will take up this offer?

  1. The small print points out that it’s actually a £20/month price plan — discounted to £15/month for 24 months. I’d imagine it’s most definitely stock clearance!

  2. Not true, 3 Sweden (www.tre.se) only charges 99 SEK montly (about 9 GBP) if you sign up for an iPhone 3GS on 24 months, that also includes free data for the entire period.
