And we’re off and running with Season 10!

So there we go: Season 10 of the 361 Podcast has now gone live. In fact we’ve just released the second episode!

The opening episode saw us chaining series regular Rafe Blandford to the nose cone of a slow moving Boeing 747 at London Heathrow whilst Ben and I took it in turns to try taking the sharpest photo with the very latest Microsoft Lumia handsets.

Ok.

Not quite. We didn’t have the budget for that.

Instead we looked at Google’s recent announcements and asked: Are they really that good? Do they actually have a plan for everything? Are they executing on a seriously clever masterplan? Or does it sometimes look that way?

And today we published episode 2 where we asked: Can Apple continue to set the agenda for the mobile industry?

Answer? Yes, if you want a quick response. The hundreds of billions of dollars in the war chest are particularly helpful for Apple. Until suddenly… the industry changes on a dime and boom, all of a sudden, you’re playing catch-up. That hasn’t happened… yet. Or has it?

This Season we’ve got some great support in terms of prizes. We’re asking podcast listeners what they reckon the best smartphone currently available is. It’s an easy one. By telling us the answer, you’ll then enter our random prize draw… to win that phone. Whoop!

To enter, it’s rather simple:

1. Subscribe to the all new 361 Podcast newsletter

2. Tell us — via any media channel (email us, Twitter to @361podcast, blog post comment and so on) — what you think the best phone is and you could well win it.

This is brought to you thanks to the team at mobile comparison site, TigerMobiles.com (who, by the way, are recruiting for a mobile phone destruction tester, £36.5k, work from anywhere, in case you’re interested!). Thank you for your support chaps.

We’ve got a load of episodes coming every week now, so if you haven’t checked out the podcast recently, please give it a listen!
