My Top 7 apps: Rune Sovndahl of Fantastic Services

I’m back with another Top 7 apps post. This week we have Rune Sovndahl who is the CEO at Fantastic Services.

Fantastic Services is the UK’s one-stop shop, providing a wide range of top quality services for home and office maintenance including cleaning, gardening, handyman, pest control, builders, pet care, removals and waste clearance across London and the South East. The business also covers areas in Europe, North America and Australia.

Here are Rune’s apps;

QL5A9132Sunrise Calendar – Sunrise has made itself my go-to for getting updates from lots of other apps, so it gets right to the top of the list. Off the top of my head, it’s linked to my Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Evernote, and Foursquare. Plus, the new keyboard for planning meetings is fantastic.

Clear – This is probably my all-round favourite to-do app. A task list I can easily control and wipe? Yes please. Linking to iCloud? Fantastic. It’s oh so simple. And very handy.

Uber – Uber is a brilliant travel app. It’s now spread worldwide, allowing you to hire a professional driver you can trust and get picked up within minutes pretty much wherever you are. Ideal if you’re somewhere where you don’t have a reliable taxi number. Or don’t want to wait in the rain!

Spotify – Raise your mood for meetings. Ready yourself for interviews. Rest and relax by making playlists for friends when they come over. I honestly can’t remember a time before I used Spotify for finding the music I’m into.

Photo Sphere Camera by Google – I travel a lot. And being keen on a bit of amateur photography, I’m always trying any new picture app I can find. Photo Sphere takes 360° shots that you can upload to Google Maps and share with fellow travellers. Love it.

Evernote – Evernote is the best thing since sliced bread for busy people like me. You can manage your daily schedule, to-do lists, projects, contacts, business trips – everything. Mine sees daily – if not hourly – use. If I was rating apps by most used, Evernote would be way up there at number one.

GoFantastic – I have to admit to being predisposed to liking this app, but you can book more than 25 professional services for everything from cleaning to gardening to handymen to removals in just a couple of clicks. And you can easily manage, rebook, cancel, and securely pay for your service all without leaving the app. We’ve just put out the version for iOS, so I’ve got mine on my Apple Watch.

Thanks to Rune for his list. I have tried lots of task apps but I will give Clear a go!
