Is it time to bring back BlackBerry? Yes, it is!

I used to be a big fan of BlackBerry.
No. Wait. I am a big fan of BlackBerry (or Research-in-Motion as they were originally called).
Kevin over at CrackBerry wrote a post earlier today calling for the re-launch of BlackBerry – and if necessary, he suggested he is prepared to take on the responsibility himself.
He's got game, here.
Not only was Kevin the chap behind one of the most influential BlackBerry websites on the planet, but he has, in recent years, got into the manufacturing of consumer electronics (with the launch of Clicks Tech physical keyboards).
So it's not just hot air.
In his post, he discusses the possibility of getting hold of the BlackBerry brand (given the company itself appears to be focusing more on QNX these days) and relaunching a device.
Yes, please.
I like the idea. I like the thinking. We need the innovation. We need a shakeup in the marketplace!
If you're interested in supporting the idea of the possibility of maybe seeing a BlackBerry style device hit the market again, you can show your support simply by signing up to the BringBackBlackBerry website, here. I've done that already.
Kevin's aiming for 1M+ sign-ups to evidence some kind of 'proof of life' to the likes of BlackBerry and other manufacturers/investors who might like to get involved.
Good luck Kevin and Team CrackBerry!
