We’re taking Unlimited Drinks to Prague

What’s going on in mobile in the Czech Republic?

We’re not entirely sure.

Which is why we’re heading there in November. It’ll be cold. We might even get a bit of snow.

We’re going to take the MIR Show Team — Dan Lane, Ben Smith and James Whatley — to Prague and have a wander around and do some filming and put on an Unlimited Drinks networking event for the locals there.

We’ve other European cities on the planning slate so I’d welcome your suggestions.

We’ll have the dates shortly — if you’d like to come and join us you’d be most welcome.

I like Amsterdam. Las Vegas? Potentially for CTIA next year, yeah. I
    think Berlin. Paris. Talin. Budapest?

the market was pretty similar over there to what we had here, a tip don't go to any of the pubs that look touristy if you wander about some of the old streets you will find a lot less quieter and cheaper bars!

    Toronto! Jeez louise.

Or are you boycotting us and our general mobile uselessness? :)

Wellington, New Zealand ?? It’s a long way to come but trust me it will be worth it.

  • Patryk

I second the Poland idea, especially the Szczecin area, eventually somewhere on the East of Germany. :)

There has to be a formula…

    x = (y – Z) / H

Where x = Ewan's inclination to open his wallet, y = local law enforcement's ability to return lost mobile devices to tourists, Z = population density of raZr users and H = chances of spotting a leatherette holster within 5 minutes of exiting customs.

    ahhh we're screwed then :/

  • http://www.mobileindustryreview.com smstextnews

I think we'd probably have to stay focused on the capital city to begin with Patryk — I think we should add Poland to our itinerary.

I very much agree with Mike's formula. And as a result, we won't be going to Toronto.

    Vancouver, maybe…. ;-)
